I recently switched to Linux Mint 17. I have used Aescrypt on Windows before.

1) If I do sudo apt-cache search aescrypt I see some packages. Are any of these official and can they be trusted?

2) In the Linux installer it says that it comes with a GUI and the command line. Is there a way to ...
