Re: AES

I would assume either the command line or GUI Linux version would work. Which version do you want to use?

If you give me a link to a particular distribution to check out, I can try to do that over the next day or two. What problem are you seeing?

Re: Mojave 10.14.2 - not installing?

I'm not sure why it's not installing, but the flashing window sounds like you're not putting the lock on the dock. The kick should be placed on the dock and files dropped into the kick icon. See the user manual linked from the AES Crypt home page.

Re: MAC GUI AESCrypt : does not ask for confirmation password !!!

Sorry, I was confusing this issue with the one where non-ASCII characters were causing a problem.

Re: MAC GUI AESCrypt : does not ask for confirmation password !!!

Arnaud, I'm not sure that we could get this fixed. Getting people to volunteer to build for Mac has been a challenge and it's even harder to get builds on older platforms. But, I do wonder if, perhaps, a new AppleScript could be put into place that would work? That is, install the old package, but t...

Re: AESCrypt for High Sierra (64-bit MacOS)?

Since I don't have a Mac, I'm not sure exactly what's involved, but it's almost just a rebuild. You could easily compile the binary as 64 bit and just replace the 32 bit one installed. But, for the rest of the users we'd need a new package file.

Not purposely ignoring this. I've just been busy. I'll try to set something up "soon".

How urgent is this? :)

Re: Can't install AESCrypt on windows 8.1 or Windows 10

In the ZIP file you downloaded is a text file that explains how to install the software. You're likely running setup.exe when you should be running aescrypt.msi.

Re: Java API questions (JAR distribution & input stream wrapping)

There's no official jar file. The intention was for developers to take this code and use it as they wish. And there's no official support on it. The author might respond to questions, though I've not been able to reach him for a while. I think that might be we're in our own as far as feature enhance...
