HTTPS on forum

Hello!

Really enjoying AESCrypt, and I look forward to meeting the community on here!
Pure curiousity, will the packetizer forums get HTTPS any time soon? It seems most other packetizer services are HTTPS enabled. It would be a nice feature to have on the fourms as well to protect user login information.

Just my suggestion :D And thank you to the community for making a great program like AESCrypt!

It's on the to-do list, but hasn't been a high priority due to the public nature of the content on the forums.

The biggest issue has just been the cost of a certificate. Yes, there are free certificates out there, but those require more manual effort. And while one can argue that a $6 certificate isn't that expensive, we have lots of domains and sub-domains. It starts to add up after a while.

I'm hoping that Let's Encrypt will solve the cost and administration issues.

I see. Thanks for the reply.

Looking forward to Let's Encrypt's new service!

We have enabled HTTPS via Let's Encrypt. So far, so good!
