Noticed that if I have a txt file in the rtfd format aescrypt does not work. It lets you enter the pass word but it does not create the new file. Using latest version of aescrypt.
OSX 10.8.5
imac 12,1
rtfd format doesn't encrypt.

Re: rtfd format doesn't encrypt.
My understanding is that RTFD "files" are actually not files, but a special type of folder that contains many files.
If you wanted to email that RTFD "file" to somebody, how would you do it? Use some ZIP program first? If so, then I would suggest zipping the file and then encrypting that.
Apparently, these "files" look like files to AES Crypt, but really are not and fail when it tries to read the file.
