Can I encrypt an SD card?

Post by dwlotter »

Sorry if it's a naive question, but I couldn't find explanation of this. Can I encrypt an SD card that is on my phone. I would like to easily access the files on my phone but have the files encrypted if the phone is lost or stolen.
Thanks for any clear answer.

No, AES Crypt doesn't do that. It's possible to encrypt individual files, but not a whole card and not in some kind of automated way.
