Different passwords

Post by anijjar »

Hi,

Just wondering with this software if I want to send multiple files but they all need different passwords is this possible? There will be no collision with files being encrypted and sent then decrypted? Also does the client side need to install the software too?

Many thanks,

Each file can be encrypted with the same or different password. If you use different passwords, you'll have to encrypt one file at a time.

The recipient will need AES Crypt to decrypt the file. Since all platforms are compatible, one can encrypt on Linux and decrypt on Windows, for example.
