AESCrypt on a Flashdrive? [Windows]

Post by 10813JJ »

Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible to put AESCrypt on a flashdrive, so that I could run it on any Windows computer I plug it into. I know it works for Mac, because I've done it, but it seems to throw errors every time I put it on a flashdrive.

Any pointers?

You can put the command line version on a flash drive and that should work. However, the GUI integrates with the Windows shell, thus requiring it to be installed.
