!!! AEScrypt for Java J2ME phones....

Post by orangutan »

...for almost all platforms... nice, but unluckily there is NO version of AEScrypt for older J2ME (Java-platform) phones....so that the product could unrestrictedly cover all platforms for encrypting and decrypting files in between.... would be nice to have the application totally unconfined with any platform you may happen to use...

....is it anyhow possible to hope for that sorta J2ME version for AEScrypt?

The Java version of AES Crypt relies on Oracle's AES implementation. If you found a third party implementation of AES, it could be used instead.

So it is possible, but as with all AES Crypt code, it's dependent on community support.
