The AES crypt gui crashes on startup, I have copied the app into the applications and when I click on the padlock it appears briefly in the start bar then crashes, I am using a macbook pro running snow lepoard.

I am having the same problem. The newer version you posted runs an install program, but after "successful" install, the program is not located on my mac at all (a search for AESCRYPT turns up only the install package and zip file)??? I'm using Lion w/all updates current.

I also seem to get the same error as brian described. I am also running Lion with all the latest updates. Any help would be most appreciated.

Sorry for the delay. We have new Mac packages available at www.aescrypt.com. Hopefully, these will work appropriately for the x86 and PPC machines.
