Install fails for newer VS 2010 redistributable

AESCryt x64 GUI failed to install due to a newer version of Visual Studio 2010 redistributable on Windows 8.1 Pro x64. The version I already have installed is 10.0.40219 - for both x86 and x64.
Any suggestions?

There should be a text file in the .zip file you downloaded that explains this.
Normally, you would run aescrypt.msi to install the software. You run setup.exe only if your machine does not have the required version of the Microsoft libraries.
Just run the .msi file and you should not have any issues.
