As far as I can see AES Crypt encrypts only single files (at least on Windows 7).

I personally use such encryption tools in 98% of the cases to encrypt whole (sub)directory trees.

Therefore I would appreciate to have a windows explorer context menu

"Encrypt+replace whole dir tree"

which obviously encrypts automatically all folders+files recursively starting from the current folder down to the innermost and creates ONE (!) archive file and deletes (if selected) the whole original source after successful encryption.

Is this possible in the next release?

Anything is possible, but I'm not going to do it

If you wish to encrypt multiple files at once, you can select them and encrypt them with the context menu. If you want to encrypt an entire subdirectory, why not just create a zip file and encrypt that?

AES Crypt was written to only encrypt files. I don't want feature creap to result in a complex to use tool or one that is difficult to maintain. I want to keep it simple.
