Android application using AESCrypt
For those who are interested. Today I put my application on Google Play which encrypts/decrypts in AES Crypt format. The applications name is Crypt4All Lite. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Very cool! It works!
One suggestion I have right away is that you have an icon for the .aes files. You're certainly welcome to use the AES icon we use on AES Crypt. In any case, some icon is needed, as encrypted files presently appear with only an icon like a blank document.

Glad you like it.
I didn't have time to make it better but I hope it will do.
I would be happy to use your icon but unfortunately I can't find suitable size anywhere. Is it possible to get icon the size of 128x128 or at least 96x96, if possible with transparent background. I need that size for tablets, otherwise the smaller size would do.

Sure. I can provide you with anything you need. I've attached a ZIP file with the logo in a bunch of different sizes.
AESCrypt Icons.zip has icons that are centered, including 'AES' that hangs out to the left.
AESCrypt Icons - Doc Centered.zip has icons that are centered only on the document (excluding AES), so it hangs out left of center. (I used these in AES Crypt.)
Which do you think looks better? I'm not an artist
In any case, you can use these or alter them as you wish.

Re: Android application using AESCrypt
I was just posting new version of application so I decided to go with icons from your first post. I'll see if they are ok later
Unfortunately I'm not a designer or anywhere near it. But that can be seen in the application itself. I'm a programmer by heart so I prefer functionality over design. Hopefully my mediocre design will not dissuade people from trying the app.
Again thanks for the icons.

Re: Android application using AESCrypt
Well, you and I are in the same boat. That said, I thought your app looked pretty good!
BTW, if you want me to place a link to your application from the AES Crypt page, I'm happy to do that. I need to have an "AES Crypt - compatible" section or something. I'm not sure how to keep people from being confused. If your app was called AES Crypt, perhaps there would not be confusion. In any case, I'm happy to put a link up for you so people can find it.
I'll have no time this weekend, but perhaps next week. Think about how you'd like it to appear on the site.
